The Amsterdam visual artist Sarah Wong studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy. Her work always has been inspired by 'compassion' and 'identity'. Since 2003 she portrayed Dutch transgender children who showed their true selves in the photoworks. Her portraits were published around the globe, in The New York Times and on the cover of Scientific American Mind.
