Visual artist Sarah Wong studied at The Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy and is based in Amsterdam. Her portraits were published around the globe. Her work is about authenticity and transformation. For fifteen years she's portraying transgender children as authentic selves. These floral works are her latest project. During a photoshoot at the Global Hospital in India she felt inspired by ancient Hindu stories where the human soul is compared with flowers, all authentic in color and scent. As a portraitist she asked herself: "Can the soul be photograped?" More about the artist.
