The Soulflower Project tells the story of an inner journey. There is an awareness process behind every work of art. The artist is inspired by an authentic flower field in the Netherlands and her art project about transgender youth, since 2003. For her, these young people are a positive colourful example of a world in transformation. During this reflective journey she asks herself: who are we? How do we find true compassion for the other and ourselves? The answer lies in the artworks.
